Event Description:
The 2016 elections could have long-term effects on all areas of the law, including labor and employment law. On the national level, we will have a new President, Republican majorities in the House and Senate, and a new Supreme Court justice. In Missouri, we will have a Republican governor, and the Republicans will have a super-majority in the state House and Senate. In this session, we will discuss how these political changes will affect labor and employment policy on the federal and state levels, and we will address the challenges that may arise in the workplace due to these changes and the uncertainty surrounding them.
