JCCC president to give State of the College presentation

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Joe Sopcich, president of Johnson County Community College, will deliver his second State of the College presentation at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Polsky Theatre of the Carlsen Center, JCCC.

JCCC’s State of the College address comes the beginning of the academic year instead of the beginning of the calendar year to reflect the true cycle of experience in education.

The presentation, “Inspire Learning,” will review the past year, look ahead to the year to come and focus on student achievements.

The State of the College presentation is free and open to the public. It will be followed by a reception in the Carlsen Center lobby sponsored by the JCCC Foundation.
