New General Manager to Lead Turner Office

Iammarino Brings 30 Years of Experience with Turner

Kansas City, MO. – Turner Construction Company is pleased to introduce Mark Iammarino as the new General Manager of Turner’s Kansas City office.  

Iammarino serves as Vice President and General Manager of the office, which serves the four-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. In this role, he oversees more than $200 million in construction annually.

Iammarino was preceded by Dewey Newton, who has taken a national sales position within Turner Construction.  Newton has been with the Kansas City office since it opened in 1988.

Iammarino joined Turner’s Cleveland office as a field engineer on the University Hospital Ambulatory Care Facility in 1984. After relocating to Chicago in 1985, he held engineering positions on two commercial high-rise projects prior to being named manager of purchasing. Iammarino then served as branch manager for the Arlington Heights office, manager of business development for the Chicago office, and director of the K-12 education group before being promoted to vice president in 2003. He then became general manager of Chicago’s Special Projects Division.

Iammarino co-authored a book, published in 2009, titled The Commercial Real Estate Revolution, which introduces key principles of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development for the Great Lakes Region and the Toronto, Canada office.
