Pioneer Trail Named Middle School of the Year

OLATHE – Pioneer Trail Middle School has been named the 2014 Middle School of the Year by the National Association of Middle School Principals. The school received the honor over five other middle school finalists located in New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Pennsylvania and Utah.

“This is a wonderful honor and recognition for the entire Pioneer Trail community. It reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and families,” Pioneer Trail Middle School Principal Mike Wolgast said. “It is truly, Great To Be A Panther!”

The district administration agrees.

“This award speaks to the amazing efforts and passion of the students, families, staff and community partners of Pioneer Trail Middle School,” Assistant Superintendent Erin Dugan said. “We are incredibly proud of the high quality middle level education provided in the Olathe Public Schools.”
