MNU to Broadcast Leadercast 2014

OLATHE, KAN, -- Leadercast exists to positively change the way the world thinks about leadership. This year's theme, Beyond You, challenges leaders to leverage their influence for the sake of others.

MidAmerica Nazarene University will broadcast Leadercast live from Atlanta, Ga., May 9, 2014 in Bell Cultural Events Center. Leadercast begins at 7 a.m. with registration.  There will be four sessions, beginning at 8 a.m. with a lunch break at 11:15 am. The program concludes at 3:30 pm.

There will be nine speakers throughout the event with Cat Deeley and Tripp Crosby co-hosting.

The first speaker, Andy Stanley, is a leadership author and communicator. Stanley is a sought-after communicator, author, pastor, and the founder of North Point Ministries, Inc. Another featured speaker is Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Laureate and human rights activist, who has worked tirelessly to spread peace, justice, and democracy and to end racial division throughout the world. Malcolm Gladwell will also speak at Leadercast. Gladwell is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author who was named one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2005. The fourth speaker, Randall Wallace, an American screenwriter, director, producer, and songwriter, earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay and a Writers Guild of America award for Best Screenplay Adapted Directly for the Screen for his screenplay for the 1995 film Braveheart. Laura Schroff, former advertising sales executive and best-selling author, will also speak during the leadercast. Other speakers include Bill McDermott, Dr. Henry Cloud, Simon Sinek, and Laura Bush.
