Chamber names 2014 board of directors, new chairman

The Olathe Chamber of Commerce has announced the members of its 2014 Board of Directors, including the appointment of its newly elected chairman, Nicolle Welsh, administration manager at Farmers Insurance. She replaces Ramin Cherafat, vice president, operations and partner at McCownGordon Construction who served as chairman for 2013. Chair elect of the 40-member Board of Directors is Jason Peters, attorney and partner at Lathrop & Gage.

Joining Welsh, Cherafat and Peters on the Chamber’s guiding Executive Committee, are Gary Anderson, Gilmore & Bell; Pat Anderson, Simmons First National Bank; Herman Baptiste, Agency West Insurance; Lori Barnes, Goodman Gravley Insurance Source; Frank Devocelle, Olathe Medical Center; Brian Geary, Bank of Blue Valley; Tim McKee, Olathe Chamber; Mark Myer, Metcalf Bank; and Michael Wilkes, City of Olathe.
