Voters pass Olathe Street Maintenance Sales Tax issue |

The unofficial final results of last Tuesday’s Street Maintenance Sales Tax question showed the issue passing by 57.1% of the vote. This issue, which was endorsed by the Olathe Chamber Board of Directors, proposed a 10-year, 3/8th cent sales tax to support a shortfall in Olathe’s street maintenance funding. Collection will begin April 1, 2014.
