Event Description: The annual open house will have: free flu shots (while supplies last), refreshments and demonstrations (car crash rescue and bomb squad). Some of the activities: spray water from a fire hose; see fire trucks and a fire station; meet “Sparky” the robotic fire dog; talk to experts about safety, disaster preparedness and Community Emergency Response Teams; get a child safety carseat check from Olathe police officers; learn Hands-Only CPR and check blood pressure. Deaf and Spanish interpreters will be available.
