Event Description: One in every eight people – 884 million worldwide-lacks access to safe water. Because of this, 1.8 million children die each year from diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation. As a global leader in advanced pump solutions and a trendsetter in water technology, Grundfos presents an opportunity to change the future. In partnership with non-profit Water Missions International, Grundfos is proud to invite you to be a corporate partner for our 3rd Annual Walk for Water event on Friday, August 29th at Kauffman Stadium. Through this walk we hope to bring awareness of the global water crisis and raise support for the 884 million people in developing countries who lack access to safe water. Walk for Water participants will take part in a three-mile walk that mimics the trek that millions of people in the developing world make each day. In addition to the opportunity to fight the global water crisis, the Walk offers food, drinks, activities, music and a ticket to the Royals game following the event.
