Dr. Bernard Franklin is a passionate urban community leader and a consultant to educational institutions, health and wellness organizations, organizations serving youth and families, and the civic and business community. His many honors include becoming the youngest person ever appointed to the Kansas State Board of Regents at 24, and the youngest Chair of the Board at age 28.
Additionally, Franklin has twice been honored as one of the 100 Most Influential African Americans in Kansas City and was also awarded the MLK “Living Legacy Award” from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
