Brad Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Chestnut Theatre in
Olathe
, founded the DICKENS’ CAROLERS 26 years ago with only four carolers and one scheduled appearance. Since then, the DICKENS’ CAROLERS have received many rave reviews and are a tradition at many holiday events and celebrations. They have appeared nationally on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” and last season made nearly 300 appearances at major holiday events, parties, luncheons, dinners and family gatherings. They
recently appeared as the featured entertainers at the
Kansas City
stop of the special Disney Train promoting the studio’s holiday motion picture “A CHRISTMAS CAROL”
Today, more than 50 carolers in groups of four appear all across the Greater Kansas City area costumed in beautiful, colorful, turn-of-the-century holiday attire providing fantastic musical cheer and even short Christmas musical concerts. Member Carolers include, teachers, government officials, Moms, Dads, seniors, students, fire fighters as well as professonal actors and singers.

The famed DICKENS’ CAROLERS, home-based at the Chestnut Theatre, will also present two Christmas holiday musical concerts at the theatre, 234 North Chestnut in Olathe on Saturday afternoon, December 19th at 3 p.m. and Monday evening , December 21st at 7 p.m.; call 913-764-2121 for holiday concert reservations.
