Jamie Buer hired as Chamber´s new business manager

The Chamber has hired CPA Jamie Buer as its business manager to replace Betty Foree, who is retiring at the end of the month. Buer comes to the Chamber from KPMG accounting firm in Kansas City, Mo., where she has been an audit manager, handling accounts in a number of industries, including transportation, retail, and banking. She earned a Master’s of Accounting and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas.

“We had a number of absolutely outstanding candidates from which to choose,” said Frank Taylor, Chamber president. “We are pleased to have someone with Jamie’s education and experience in such a critical position at the Chamber.”
