Zimmer brokerage department announces three promotions

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) Recognizing outstanding work by three members of the its sales and leasing division, Zimmer Real Estate Services, L.C. announced three promotions while moving into the new year.

John Green and Susan Smith were promoted to Vice President and Andrew Fischer was promoted to Senior Sales Associate.

“These promotions are a reflection of the exemplary service each of these people provided to our clients,” said Senior Vice President and Director of Sales and Leasing Mark C. Long, CCIM, SIOR, LEED AP. “John, Susan and Andrew have been a part of our team for a number of years and have continually shown they are willing to do whatever it takes to meet each of our clients’ unique needs and requirements.”

Green joined Zimmer in June 2001. His primary responsibilities include the sales and leasing of office, industrial and investment properties throughout the Kansas City area. In 2004, Green was named by CoStar as a Top 20 Power Broker. This award was issued to the top office and industrial brokers who produced the largest leasing transaction volume for the year. In addition to performing landlord and tenant representation, he is currently performing corporate services in markets across the country.

Smith began her real estate career when she joined Zimmer in 1991. Susan currently specializes in office Tenant representation, Landlord representation and acquisition and disposition of investment properties. Her marketing efforts are focused in Northeast Johnson County, Kan. and South Kansas City, Mo.

Fischer joined Zimmer in 2005. Fischer’s primary duties include the sales and leasing of industrial properties in Eastern Jackson County and South Kansas City, Mo. He has been recognized as part of the CoStar “Multi-million Dollar Club” each year he has been at Zimmer. Fischer is responsible for handling key Zimmer client accounts including major investors and Corporate Services accounts.

Also during 2008, Vice President Tracey Mann, CCIM, LEED AP, was named as director of industrial sales and leasing. Mann joined Zimmer in 2002 and was subsequently named the 2003 Rookie of the Year for the Kansas Board of Realtors Commercial division.
“Tracey has proven himself time and again to be an integral part of our industrial brokerage services,” Long said. He is a natural leader and will continue to play a significant role in our Industrial Brokerage Operations.”
