Terracon purchases Iowa-based AquaDrill

Terracon has announced its acquisition of AquaDrill, Inc., a drilling service provider in Swisher, Iowa. Terracon is one of the nation's largest employee-owned engineering consulting firms with headquarters in Olathe, and AquaDrill will operate as a drilling services office, working closely with Terracon's operations across the Midwest as part of Terracon's Northern Division. AquaDrill will retain its name.

"AquaDrill has compiled an excellent record throughout Iowa and the Midwest, and we look forward to serving local and national clients together," said André M. Gallet, P.E., manager of Terracon's Northern Division.

AquaDrill specializes in subsurface environmental soil sampling and monitoring well installation. The company also performs a variety of other environmental drilling services, water well construction and specialty geotechnical drilling services.
