Firms join forces to serve the CPA profession

Star Americas and Mize, Houser & Company. P.A. combine resources to provide a world-class practice management solution for medium – large firms

Star Americas Software Solutions. L.L.C. and Mize, Houser & Company, P.A. have reached an agreement to jointly market a software solution suite known as “Star Global” for use by accounting firms.  The package will be marketed in the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Mize, Houser developed a practice management solution – CPA/MIS - over 20 years ago and currently supports an active User Group of 25 firms.  Mize Houser will work with Star to transition the CPA/MIS client base to Star Global.  Mize Houser’s accounting and information system expertise and unique perspective of the needs of its clients combined with the high quality software products and Big Four accounting deployment expertise provided by Star should provide major benefits to CPA/MIS clients. 

In addition, Mize, Houser will represent Star, marketing Star Global to medium sized firms.  Star’s main marketing focus will be the Top 100 firms in the United States.

Star and its associated companies have invested in excess of $10 million in overall product development over the last eight years and will continue to develop to reflect “best practice” within the accounting profession.

Mize Houser & Company, P.A. is a regional CPA and information technology firm in the Midwest, founded in 1956.  Star Americas Software Solutions, L.L.C. is the Chicago based associated company of Star Computers Limited, founded in the UK in 1973.
