J2 Engineering and Environmental Design opens in Olathe |

J2 Engineering and Environmental Design, based in Phoenix, opened an office at 19980 W. 162nd St. in Olathe on Dec. 15 in Olathe.
Chad Belcher, formerly employed by Johnson County Government, Payne & Brockway, and Phelps Engineering, opened the office, which will focus on storm-water studies, flood plain analyses, road improvements and park planning for government clients, according to an article in the Kansas City Business Journal.
Nationally, J2 has more than 100 employees in several cities. Co-founded in 2001 by Jeff Holzmeister, the firm provides design-build, general construction, construction management, engineering and environmental services.
