Event Description: Make tracks to the Indian Creek Branch Library for a dog-gone good time at the end of the summer bash! Watch a demo at 12:30 pm by the Olathe Police Department Canine Unit, listen to live music by Rock School KC, meet and greet dogs provided by Pets for Life, Inc. to learn more about the R.E.A.D. to a Dog Program at the libraries and find out about dog and licensing and other services available from Olathe Animal Control.

Bring donations of canned cat and dog food, peanut butter and paper towels to benefit the Great Plains SPCA and purchase funnel cakes, ice cream, cold drinks and fried Oreos, Snickers and Twinkies from The Funnel Cake Truck. Stop by the Friends of the Olathe Public Library Beat the Heat Book Sale from 12 – 4 pm on August 10 in the meeting room.
