Event Description: Enjoy a morning in beautiful Heritage Park on August 3 for the Olathe Medical Center 5K & Family Fun Run. This event, developed by the Johnson County Parks & Recreation District and Olathe Medical Center includes chip timing, T-shirt and finisher medals for participants in all races (while they last), a health fair with free screenings, and a bounce house and more for kids. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Olathe Medical Center Charitable Foundation for The Birth Place and Expanded Nursery project. Saturday, Aug. 3 Heritage Park, Olathe 5K and 2-mile run/walk (8 a.m.) Half-Mile Kids Fun Run (9 a.m.) Use the park’s main entrance, just south of 159th and Pflumm.
