Event Description: The Angel Day 5k Walk/Run raises money for the Maguire Davis Gilner Foundation, an Olathe group that helps families who have lost children to purchase headstones when they can't afford one. The Gilners lost 8-month-old Maguire Davis to an accident in the home, and then a couple years later lost Titus Wiley, stillborn at 6 months. Their goal is to make sure than no Angel Baby's grave goes unmarked. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with race start at 8 a.m. There will be a Tot Trot for the little ones, face painting, hamster balls, a bake sale, cotton candy, silent auction, and local vendors. Farmers Insurance will be on-site hosting a M.I.L.K (Managing Information on Lost Kids) event, taking pictures and fingerprinting kids for free.
