Ribbon Cutting set for 35th Elementary School

OLATHE – The Olathe School District will host a ribbon cutting at Millbrooke Elementary School, 11751 S. Sunnybrook Blvd., at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11. Following the program, a Sneak-a-Peek will be held for the school community.

The school staff and Principal Stephanie Dansco are excited to welcome students next week to the district’s 35th elementary school. The colors for the school are Royal Blue and Silver and the mascot is Max the Mountain Lion.

School for students begins with a half day on Wednesday, Aug. 13 for grades 1 through 5, 6 and 9 only. All grades, kindergarten through 12th grade, will have a regular day of classes on Thursday, Aug. 14.
