Fall Primary – advanced voting, online candidate guide

Primary elections are on August 5, and advance voting is now open! Advanced voting is available at four locations around Johnson County and any registered voter can vote in advance; you do not need to meet special eligibility requirements. Because polling places have been consolidated, advance voting is highly recommended for your convenience. For advance voting locations and hours (you can even vote on Saturdays!), visit www.votejoco.com.

As a service to our member businesses, the Olathe Chamber has partnered with our colleague chambers across Johnson County to compile a countywide nonpartisan Candidate Profile Guide containing information about candidates at the national, state, and local levels for the 2014 elections. Before you vote, be sure to check it out at www.votejoco.com. Additional responses are being posted as they are received from candidates, so check back often!

Not sure which candidates you should review? Print a copy of your sample ballot by visiting www.jocoelection.org and clicking on “Voter-Lookup” on the left side of the screen.

As a reminder, it’s our mission to encourage Olathe residents to actively participate in the electoral process, but the Olathe Chamber does not endorse or support candidates.
