Olathe Public Schools seeks partners for Adopt-A-School

Olathe Public Schools is seeking 11 business, faith or civic partners for the Adopt-A-School program. Under the program, each school and educational program teams up with an outside organization who wants to connect with the students and staff through a variety of activities, including backpack programs, building and landscape improvement projects, and before or after school tutoring.

Statistics show that 80 percent of graduating students will locate within a 50-mile radius of their home – that means that business investment in Olathe students through partnerships like this will generate a high rate of return in future employees and continued economic growth for the community.
