Rep. Yoder Announces Fourth Annual Job Fair

Overland Park, KS – Congressman Kevin Yoder (KS-3) announced today that the fourth annual Third District Job Fair and Resource Expo will be held on August 14 at the Great Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe.  The purpose of the fair will be to help facilitate face-to-face meetings between those looking for employment and employers/business owners.  Once again, the fair will include a special morning hour exclusive to veterans only.
 
“I’m looking forward to our fourth job fair,” said Congressman Yoder.  “These fairs have been such a success and have allowed job seekers to make important contacts with employers and has led to hundreds of jobs being filled. I encourage everyone looking for work to attend.”
 
The Jobs Fair will last from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the 9:00-10:00 a.m. hour exclusively for veterans. Job-seekers should dress for success, bring several copies of their resume, and do not need to register or pay to attend.
