KDOT issues Traffic Alert for I-435 & Lackman Rd. Interchange for Week of May 29-June 3

EXPECT DELAYS! WEEKDAY/WEEKEND DAY OVERNIGHT LANE/RAMP CLOSURES: Eastbound I-435 two right lanes from eastbound K-10 to just past the Lackman Road entrance ramp and the eastbound I-435 to Lackman Road exit ramp will be CLOSED overnight for core drilling work as follows. The eastbound K-10 right lane to eastbound I-435 will also be CLOSED during these same timeframes. See project map below for lane and ramp closures.

8:00 p.m., Friday, May 30          10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31
8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31      10:00 a.m., Sunday, June 1
8:00 p.m., Monday, June 2        5:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 3
 
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via signage and cones. Drivers should expect some delays through the project work zone during the overnight closures.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
