OLATHE, Kan., November 20, 2013 – The Olathe Chamber of Commerce today announced that Farmers Insurance has signed a long-term extension of its lease at its 101,000-square-foot Olathe location at Ridgeview and K-10 Highway. The lease will now expire March 2024, securing the company’s stay in Olathe for the next ten years.
“We first came to Olathe and the Greater Kansas City area because of the quality of the local workforce and the healthy business environment, said Rob Koch, Head of Centralized Inside Property Claims for Farmers Insurance. “We have agreed to extend our commitment because we remain confident that this community is continuing the great partnership we have built together over the years.”
More than 400 Farmers Insurance personnel work at this facility in northeastern Olathe. Along with the building on Ridgeview Road, Farmers also occupies several other facilities in the Olathe community, employing more than 2,000 people in the area.
