New Olathe Walmart Neighborhood Market Marks Milestone

Construction nearly complete; associates begin to stock shelves, prepare for opening

WHAT: The new Walmart Neighborhood Market in Olathe, scheduled to open this fall, moves closer to completion as associates now begin stocking shelves in preparation for its grand opening. The approximately 41,000-square-foot store, located at 18555 W. 151st St., will include a full line of groceries and an assortment of general merchandise.

“We’re just about ready – stocking the shelves and preparing to open our doors,” said store manager Jeff Frank. “We’re gearing up to make a difference in our store and in the Olathe community.”
